Pressure Leaf Filters

Turning cloudy into clear!

Pressure leaf filters (also known as vertical filter leaves) are similar in function to filter discs (also known as horizontal filter leaves), except that they are arranged vertically upright or suspended. When the pressure drops, gravity causes the filter cake to be released automatically. The pressure leaf filter is therefore also referred to as a static filter, as there is no rotational movement like there is with horizontal filter leaves.

The most common brands are AMA, Tapis, Niagara and Florapower.

We would be more than happy to look at the filter leaves you are using and assess any repairs that may be required.
