Mining is characterised by very challenging site conditions, such as high temperatures along with very humid and dusty environments, while the handling of highly abrasive materials is also a major challenge for man and machine.

The requirements for screening applications, particularly those used for cleaning, sorting, washing, separating, shaking and sizing stones, earth, sand or extracted ores, are therefore high.

Due to the high throughput and very coarse surface of some of the materials, screening media in particular must be resistant and robust to maximise service life. Regular maintenance and, if necessary, repairs are essential. In addition, each material being screened has its own specific properties that influence the screening process. While moist materials can stick together or clump together during screening, dry materials tend to create dust, which not only impairs screening efficiency, but can also potentially trigger dangerous dust explosions.

Among other things, PACO filter elements are used in return line filtration, for filtration in cooling or hydraulic circuits or in pit water systems and meet the highest quality and safety standards.
