This all means that PACO desperately needs new areas for staff, production facilities and inventory storage. After a long and hard search, a suitable business property was found in Steinau’s neighbouring community of Schlüchtern. Following extensive renovation and modernization work, everything and everybody was moved from plant 3 into the new plant 5 – incidentally in record time. (PACO plant 4 in Lich was not affected by this relocation merry-go-round, as it has its own self-contained activities of engineering and machine building). The article “There’s More Space!” on page 3 of the new PACO World describes in detail the complexity of the assignment of relocating all of the machinery and staff. But also how good it is to be allocated more space for work and success. After all, if you want to continue to work successfully and productively on into the future, you are going to need space!
